Kings Mountain Hospital meets the medical needs of residents in the eastern part of the county and is a smaller 102-bed.
The wonderful Cleveland County Schools NC are served and governed by the Cleveland County NC School system which currently oversees 26 public schools and 3 alternative and special purpose public schools. All of the Cleveland County NC Schools maintain and uphold high standards for academic education and student development, and the teachers, students and staff at each school campus work together to help every student excel. Providing a well-rounded education that prepares students for college, careers, and success in life, the Cleveland County NC Schools have high expectations for all graduates in the county.
